Join 1141 Adventures for a powerful Sunrise & Summits Weekend in the heart of the Cairngorms - June onwards Over two unforgettable days, you’ll hike rugged highlands, cross sweeping glens, and summit ancient peaks guided by experienced leaders. Each route is shaped by the land and the weather—because in the wild, nothing is scripted. Day 1 - We will meet, plan our route, discuss equipment and camp etiquette before heading off to the wilderness and setting up camp - approx 7-10 miles sunset stars and stories As the sun sets, we wild camp in remote, breathtaking locations—beside vast lochs or high on quiet hillsides—sharing stories, laughter, and firelit moments under endless Scottish skies. Day 2 - Sunrise and breakfast, debunk and clean our campsite, walk out discussing mountain craft and practical scenarios such as first aid, navigation techniques and so much more. This isn’t just about miles or mountains. It’s about resilience, camaraderie, and earning your place out there. Climbing Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) with 1141 Adventures means a guided, supportive hike to Wales’ highest peak. Expect experienced leaders, a steady pace, and route choices suited to your group’s ability. You’ll enjoy dramatic mountain views, safety briefings, and encouragement throughout. Weather can change quickly, so bring waterproofs and sturdy boots. It’s challenging but achievable, with a rewarding summit photo and strong team atmosphere at the top.
You do not need technical climbing experience to summit Snowdon with 1141 adventures. However, you should:

Be confident on uneven, rocky terrain

Have some prior hillwalking experience (recommended)

Meeting point: Llanberis
Ascent via Pyg Track

Steady climb with rocky sections and views over Glaslyn.

Summit of Snowdon (1,085m)
Descent via Llanberis Path
