Mountain Master Winter is the perfect introduction to the mountain environment during the colder months, designed for novices who want to explore the hills safely and confidently. Over a packed weekend, you’ll experience challenging winter hill days, icy ridges, and snowy Munro-bagging, giving you a true taste of winter adventure. Every evening includes interactive sessions to teach the essential skills for winter mountain travel. You’ll learn about first aid in cold conditions, reading mountain weather, using winter-specific kit, navigation, and safe route planning, equipping you to tackle the mountains with confidence. Guided by experienced instructors, you’ll not only master the techniques needed to move safely on snow and ice but also develop the mindset to enjoy winter mountains responsibly. By the end of the course, you’ll leave with practical skills, unforgettable memories, and the confidence to take on your next winter adventure. Whether your goal is to bag Munros, explore frozen trails, or gain the knowledge to navigate winter conditions safely, Mountain Master Winter is your gateway to cold-weather mountain adventure.
Climbing Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) with 1141 Adventures means a guided, supportive hike to Wales’ highest peak. Expect experienced leaders, a steady pace, and route choices suited to your group’s ability. You’ll enjoy dramatic mountain views, safety briefings, and encouragement throughout. Weather can change quickly, so bring waterproofs and sturdy boots. It’s challenging but achievable, with a rewarding summit photo and strong team atmosphere at the top.
You do not need technical climbing experience to summit Snowdon with 1141 adventures. However, you should:

Have some prior hillwalking experience (recommended)

Ascent via Pyg Track
