Duration : 2 Days

Our 2-day Winter Skills Course is a hands-on introduction to moving safely and confidently in the mountains during winter. Expect full days outdoors, practical instruction and plenty of time to develop your skills in real mountain conditions.

Over the two days, we’ll cover winter movement, route planning, navigation, ice axe and crampon techniques, snow conditions, avalanche awareness and essential winter safety skills. Weather and mountain conditions can vary significantly, so we’ll adapt the course to make the most of the conditions available.

With 1141 Adventures, our commitment is to provide a rewarding and progressive experience, whatever the weather, while maintaining a strong focus on safety, learning and enjoyment in the mountains.
